How large are the curves in a square shade sail?

A shade sail can be made in any desired size. Shade sails that are attached at three or four corners always feature curves. Please note that the stated size will not be fully covered. The curve is approximately 5 to 6% per side. The stated size always refers to the dimension measured from triangle eye to triangle eye. The fabric size will therefore always be smaller after subtracting the percentage for the curves.

Wide range of colors

At Nettenverkoop, you can fully customize your square sun sail to match the rest of your garden decor. Choose from one of the available colors such as Mystic grey, Arctic white, or Country blue and match your shade sail with the color of your window frames, doors, or patio cover.

When choosing a color, keep in mind that darker colors block more light. This provides more shade, but also more UV protection. Do you want to prevent it from getting too dark under your sun sail? Then choose a light color.

Waterproof or water-permeable square shade sail?

In addition to a choice of various colors, you also have a choice of two different materials: waterproof or water-permeable. What are the differences?

Waterproof square shade sail

Then you don't have to worry about your garden furniture getting wet. The water-resistant material ensures that the raindrops remain on the fabric or slide off the side. Do you want to keep your patio as airy as possible and don't necessarily need the shade sail to be waterproof? Then opt for a square water-permeable shade sail. This type of shade sail provides the necessary shelter and sun protection, but still allows a pleasant breeze to pass through.

A popular variant is the square shade sail 3.6 x 3.6 meters water-permeable. This fabric is air and water permeable and has a cooling effect.

Attaching a square sun sail
