It also has a warm and beautiful reddish structure and is known as one of the hardest types of wood in Europe. Untreated Douglas wood can last 10 to 15 years and is produced in the Netherlands.

The material used for the sliding canopy in the pergola is HDPE (High Density Polyethylene). This ensures that the retractable canopy filters up to 96.5% of harmful UV radiation. In addition, this material is known for being mildew resistant and super easy to keep clean.

Water-permeable or waterproof pergola?
